Dr. Hugh Jenkins, a Kentucky native, graduated from University of Louisville School of Medicine and did his internship and residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Jenkins is Board Certified in Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep. He has been affiliated with Athens Pulmonary & Allergy, P.C. since July of 1987.

Dr. John Lazenby is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of University of Arkansas College of Medicine. He did his internship, residency and fellowship at University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Lazenby is Board Certified in Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep and has been with Athens Pulmonary & Allergy since April of 2002.

Dr. Jane Parks is an Alabama native, graduating from Vanderbilt with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. She went on to University of Alabama at Birmingham as a Research Associate in the Department of Physiology. After completing her medical degree and finishing her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Parks held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Alabama, Birmingham. In December of 1998, Dr. Parks relocated to Athens to join Athens Pulmonary & Allergy. She is Board Certified in Pulmonology and Critical Care, and is board eligible in Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Shraddha Tongia graduated from medical school (SMS Medical College, University of Rajasthan) in India. She did her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York. Dr. Tongia is Board Certified in Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. She also specializes in performing Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing with Sensory Testing (FEESST) to evaluate dysphagia. She joined Athens Pulmonary in March of 2008.
