Athens Neurological Associates (ANA) and Sleephealth Clinic at Lake Oconee, practicing at the Cowles Clinic, provides access to board-certified neurologists, sleep physicians and neurophysiologists for consultation and treatment. ANA has provided neurological care for patients from Northeast Georgia since 1978.

We strive to provide exceptional care for a broad range of neurological conditions including: sleep disorders, migraine, multiple sclerosis, cerebrovascular health, Parkinson's disease, memory disorders, seizure disorders and peripheral nerve disorders. Physicians utilize state-of-the-art equipment and employ board-certified technicians to assist in providing polysomnogram (sleep), electroencephalography, nerve conduction testing and electromyography studies for diagnosis and treatment. Our physicians are experts in the interpretation of magnetic resonance imaging of the cerebrovascular arteries and brain.

For some conditions, an over night sleep study is recommended for evaluation. Sleep studies are scheduled on site at Cowles Clinic in the dedicated, 3-bed Sleep Center. Studies are provided under the direction of a board certified physician in sleep medicine. Our spacious and tastefully appointed center is conducive to a comfortable stay with accommodations for dressing and showering.
