The Atlanta Cardiology Group (ACG) at Lake Oconee, practicing at Cowles Clinic, provides cardiac consultation, diagnostic testing and management of heart related problems. Ranked among the top cardiovascular programs in the country, ACG specializes in the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease. Our nationally renowned physicians, practicing at over a dozen locations throughout the state of Georgia, are actively involved in research trials that help determine the future of cardiac medicine.
Our cardiologists maintain a full time practice during the week and are available on call twenty-four hours a day. Many on-site services are available including cardiac consultation, preventive cardiology, pacemaker clinic, nuclear stress testing and echocardiography. We also offer holter and event monitors, an on-campus blood lab and a Coumadin Clinic. ACG physicians perform outpatient heart catheterizations in our dedicated laboratory in Atlanta and at numerous hospitals throughout the state. Interventional procedures, including angioplasties and stents, electrophysiology procedures, including placement of pacemakers and defibrillators, and cardiac transplantation are performed at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta.
